MOSMAN HIGH MUSIC
For 2021 the fees are higher the previous years due to the impacts of Covid on membership numbers and no fundraising opportunities through concerts, bbqs etc.
Around $550 – $575 per annum (to be confirmed. Fees are paid annually.
Our fees are determined by the number of students who join the ensemble program. The costs to run the program are determined and then we divide total by the number of students in the program.
It is a user pay, not-for-profit activity.
The budget is supplemented by fundraising to keep the costs to parents as low as possible.
If one child is paying the full fee then subsequent children are entitled to the sibling rate of around $500 (to be confirmed).
Students are allocated to tutors once a registration form is received.
Tuition fees are paid directly to the tutor.
Rates are: $42 per 30 minute lesson.
Fees are paid to the MHS Music Committee. Annual fee is due by end of Week 6 of Term 1. Fees paid after this deadline will incur a $30 administration fee.
Payment of fees entitles the student to attend as many ensembles as you like however it is compulsory for wind instrumentalists to be a member of a core ensemble ie concert band. Auditions are held for Senior Jazz and entry to Symphonic Wind Orchestra (SWO).
Fees are strictly non-refundable after Term 1. There will be no refunds given if students leave the program after Term 1.
