Mosman High has a thriving music community where students can develop their musical talents as a member of our ensemble program. The Ensemble Program is open to all students and caters for the diversity of talent and musical interest. Whether you like to play an instrument, be part of a band or sing in a choir there is room to express your musical tastes.
The Music Ensembles Program is an extra-curricular activity that provides students with the opportunity to extend their music skills and knowledge in an ensemble setting. The Ensemble Program is an extension of the classroom music lessons and managed by a professional Music Administrator working closely with the Music Teachers to develop and deliver the program. Volunteers/parents of ensemble members provide support to the program with budget management and fee collection, event and fundraising activities, support for tours and other aspects as required.
Professional conductors, external and within the music teaching staff, direct the ensembles which rehearse once a week usually before or after school.
Keep up to date on Ensembles activities via this website - see the performances and events below and note any in your diary. More details on these events will be made available closer to the dates. Access more info here.
